I would say that it good to have this book. It allows me to play along to some classic tracks. I would have rated this book five star, bar one constant error:
1) Ringo Star (drummer for The Beatles) was Left handed, But he played, like most, on a right handed kit. To a trained ear and eye you can spot that he is left handed as the notation is written wrongly compared to the orignal track. It happens only at fills, where obviously his dominant hand took the lead with the sticking, leading the writer to note it down wrongly.
2) The book does not contain a CD so you have to source all the tracks yourself. This is annoying when they are not available on iTunes.

Extremley good for any age group. My 10 year old is using one of the songs for her exam and gets great practice runs from it. Well worth the buy.

I'm glad to have this book. My only complaint would be that I wish it had more songs in it. I'm using it as a beginners learning book and the more material to work with for songs that I am familiar with and like is helpful and desirable.
