Amazing 1 Mar 2006

I think this is one of the greats. A lot of "cyberpunk" graphic novels are out there, but this is at the top of the pile, no question. Not only is it unique in its story, and the level of complexity and genuine deepness it offers up, but Bilal's artwork is simply stunning.
Bilal's Continued Artistry 12 Jun 2007

In the Beast Trilogy, Enki Bilal has maintained the level of artistry that I discovered in my first readings of Metal Hurlant, as published in France from the 1970's. The artist also delivers a satisfying science fiction yarn, retaining the socio-political commentary that typified most of Hurlant's graphic tales.

disapointed 24 Jun 2011

Although I liked the book, the price was too high compared to the original one, and the colors faded.
I would have liked to know that the vendor was saling an old edition, for twice the price.

OK well - Jonathan Ross has made a decent fist of entering the comic universe - which celebrity can't you wait for to enter the fray with their own graphic novel, and er, if you like, what would it be about ? 0 3 days ago
