5.0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC! 4 July 2010
Format:Paperback
This is a fantastic book about the late great Errol Flynn, written by his daughter Rory. Errol nicknamed himself "The Baron" or "Baron Dad" for his children. Rory's warm memories of her loving father are very well written and there is lots of fine photographs too.
Highly recommended!

My mother in England has just received this book, her 3rd book about Errol Flynn and his life and family. She loved it and found it full of really interesting information on Errol's life. Excellent. Really good to be buying books for her when I live so far away (Australia).

2.0 out of 5 stars The Baron of Mulholland. 6 Feb 2012

I am extremely disappointed with this book ,having just finished reading my wicked wicked ways I was expecting another great book and was really itching to read this book written by the lovely daughter of Errol Flynn Rory.Unfortunately there was very little that was new and almost half of the book was about Sean, Errol's son.All very well and good but I wanted to read about The man himself not his son,and this book is not cheap.
The main saving grace of the book for me are the personal letters and photographs which are intriguing. It's just a shame that the descriptions are not written underneath the photos to save from the inconvenience of having to turn to an index at the back of the book to find out the relevance for each individual photograph.

Maybe they should have used a ghost writer,,,,,
