PIrate stories from around the world, beautifully illustrated. A quality book, beautifully coloured with the added bonus of a cd to listen to. I chose this because of the illustrations and couldn't be more delighted with the book. Each story gives something special. A book to treasure.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful pirate stories 15 Jun 2011
By Justin

The Barefoot Book of Pirates makes a fun change for bedtime stories. My little girls love the pirate stories, and for a dad who has to put up with lots of princess stories it makes a nice change. We've already got the Barefoot Book of Princesses and enjoyed the variety and novelty of these stories from around the World. The book is beautifully illustrated and ideal for slightly older children (5+) who don't rely so much on pictures when listening to the story. The CD is also good value and has become a favourite on long car journeys,
