Keith Senior is Mr Super League. The veteran Leeds Rhinos and former Great Britain centre has been one of the competition's most exciting and controversial talents since it began in 1996. Senior scored a try for Sheffield Eagles against Paris in Super League's opening game and has played more matches - and touched down more times - than anyone else in the competition's history. He was a member of the Sheffield side which stunned Wigan Warriors in the 1998 Challenge Cup final - one of rugby league's greatest-ever shocks - and starred for Leeds in their 2004, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Grand Final wins. He achieved overnight notoriety for a punchy which flattened Castleford's Barrie-Jon Mather in a televised Challenge Cup tie and was at the centre of more controversy when blamed for Leeds' defeat in the 2005 final. I'm no fan of Keith Senior, mainly because he played for Leeds Rhinos & I'm a Hull KR fan, but this book changed my opinion of the man.
I think most of those who say they are not fans of Keiths, would also like me have him in our own clubs 1st team in an instant.
The book itself is well written, and is a great read.
Most sports biogs are very sterile & have little or no new info in that you didnt already know. This really lifts the lid on his life & work. He is a great story teller and Puts things over very well.
I found a new admiration for this sportsman.

i found this a truly enjoyable book. diving into the everyday life a true rugby league legend i could not put the book down after at first i was a bit sceptical.It is a MUST read book.

A real page turning sports autobiography - both thrilling and moving. I learnt a lot about rugby and enjoyed the experience..
