BAD SLASHER MOVIE 10 Sep 2011
By Michael Ledo - Published on Amazon.com
Format:DVD
I am embarrassed to admit it, but I liked this video. The film starts out with 20 some year old "kids" taunting a deformed kid. Randy places a burlap bag on the deformed kid's head and drowns him. He makes the other kids swear not to tell. 10 years later in Seattle, they get together on Friday the 13th to watch horror movies and hang out by the graveyard. One by one they are being killed off.

The plot was simple with no twists. The movie was short, and dialouge was bad, but enjoyable. The horror movie they watched was Razor's own "Eyes of the Werewolf" with Stephanie Beaton. They critique the movie, "the ending sucked" as if the rest of it was good. Stephanie, whose on-line biography states she loved horror movies so much as a child she wanted to grow up to become a Scream Queen, says she hates horror movies in this film...a little personal irony I enjoyed.

The special effects were funny, especially when they cut off a man's hand. I think we did that gag at age nine. The movie needed a good twist and some better dialouge. No character build-up.

F-bomb, sex, nudity.

There Are So Many Flaws I Don't Know Where To Start 2 Jan 2005
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format:DVD
First I will start with the cover (which is Pretty Funny) the murderer does not even look like that. In the film he is a big fat guy, (for real he is fat!), has a bag over his head with a white smile painted on it, and when you see his real face it has got to be the worst make-up effect ever! Ok, now the kills, they are fake and really suck!! (pretty much being stabbed and lame stuff like that) The acting Blows!! And the sex scene is more funny looking than hot (same goes for the lead actress). The camera veiw does not change as much as it should have. Also......yeah I'll stop. Stay Away from this film and if you ever some how get your hands on a copy of it please destroy the crap. Watch Friday the 13th part 2 if you want to see a guy with a bag over his head killing teens in cool ways, with better camera views, and all that other stuff. FINISH

Biodiversity 101 19 Mar 2005
By Danny G. - Published on Amazon.com

This is not your typical "nature" video. This particular educational video was filmed by Emmy Award winning wildlife cinematographer Wolfgang Bayer! For example, there's hardly any scenes of gory violence, which is a welcome relief!

What is of particular interest to the nature-lover, or aspiring biologist is the brilliant way biodiversity is explained. We all know about the concept, but here you are shown on a fragment of rainforest how one species is dependent on another, specifically the interaction between plants and animals. Eliminate one very specialized bee, and all the plants depending on it for pollination become extinct. How a few species benefit from living on the edges of a rainforest, while the majority do not. The viewer even learns rainforest trees are not designed to be exposed to wind! Something that never crossed my mind.

This video is perfect for the classroom, and will be a call-to-arms for anyone concerned about preserving the earth's magnificent rainforests!
