A Liverpool Midwife attends a birth. Mum dies and Dad gives Baby to Midwife to take to a 'home'. She keeps the child and the story revolves around its affect on her life. A good read according to my wife.

Read about Patty Peel in the story by Katie Flynn. Looks a little bittersweet story. A big read it will be difficult to put down.
