I have had the good fortune to work with Gerad for several years and have the greatest respect for his drive and dedication to the traditional Five element approach to Acupuncture. I bought this book for a number of reasons; firstly, to broaden my own knowledge of the use of Acupuncture in fertility and, secondly, to help me to develop a more structured approach to how I conduct my fertility treatments. Thanks in no small part to this excellent book, I have been able to devise a checklist that I use in my own clinic that covers each of the key points (based on the main sections of the book) and I now use this as a guide with each new patient; this is working brilliantly!
I have recommended this book to my fertility patients, all of whom seem to love reading it just as much as i do (we often have fun talking about the different elements!) and I have also found that I am now able to communicate more easily and effectively with my patients when explaining to them during treatments what I am doing and why. Gerad is nothing short of an inspiration to me and I am certain that many, if not all, Five Element Acupuncture practitioners will enjoy and value this book every but as much I do.

This book primarily offers advice on how to conceive for those who have tried without success. It gives common sense tips on diet and lifestyle. There's a bit of philosophy but it's written in a simple, easy to understand way. The case studies of clients who the author has helped are brilliant. For those who have struggled to conceive they make you realise that others have shared your frustrations. Ultimately this book offers great advice on how to be healthy - if you have a baby along the way, well that's a great result!

This is a super book!

I love the way it essentially focuses on one's well being rather than allowing the reader to get "bogged down" in infertility issues. I believe it is a helpful read for many, not just those of us trying for a baby!

It is beautifully written with a sense of humour yet does not shy away from the real life scenarios that Kite's patients have encountered.

I have found it very helpful and supportive and it has given me confidence.
