I think the book is written well. It kept up at night wondering what will happen next, Karen Harper is an author who paints a picture for you. The storyline is wonderful,it makes you think Hm-mmm could this really be happening somewhere. I can't say anymore. It is an excellent book, and a fantastic storyline.Karen if all your books are as interesting as this one, then your are an exceptional author who paints a picture well. I felt as if was part of the book. Thank you for writing a very good book.

The Baby Farm reviewed 23 Oct 2000
By Dana - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Mass Market Paperback
The story in this book was interesting, but I found the style of telling it to be choppy and hard to follow. The description of a difficult childbirth was mesmerizing and really well-done, but the romance was too sparse. Mostly I objected to ends not being tied up....we never found out what happened to several of the secondary characters, people we had either come to like or wanted to be sure they got what they deserved!

I enjoyed this book, but need more time on my hands. 5 Nov 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Mass Market Paperback
The Baby Farm By Karen Harper was a great adventure thriller. The book kept me wondering what would happen next. The book also had a romance style to it which added some spice to it. The problem I found with this book is that you had to have alot of time on your hands. Because once you started reading this book you couldn't put it down. That is a problem for me because I have sports and many extra-cricular activitie's. The book does jump from one scene to another which can get confusing and can get you a bit lost, especially when you have to come back to the spot you left off the last time you read the book. I some times would have to go back to the last chapter to find out what was happening. My favorite thing about this book is how Karen was able to keep you wondering what will happen next. I was always on edge, oh my gosh whaat's going to happen I found myself often wondering. I have never found a book that I have enjoyed as much as this one. As a teen I would really recommend this book to anyone who has time and enjoys a good thriller and maybe even a romance story. I hope you willtake my word and read this book.

Suspenseful -- but too many coincidences 29 April 2000
By Anne M. Marble - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Mass Market Paperback
This book has a great plot and some wonderful twists. Having the heroine be a midwife and the hero be a doctor was a wonderful idea.
I would have rated it higher if there weren't so many plot coincidences. Also, a couple of scenes, though exciting, didn't ring true because they seemed a bit contrived.
Also, I would like to know why the front cover blurb gives away a major secret!
I gave this one a B- a All About Romance.
