Through interesting analysis and real life examples this book skillfully opens those possibilities and inspires the reader to explore the Audible Life Stream as a pathway for more abundant living and conscious dying. In writing this book Alistair Conwell has made an important contribution to near-death literature. --Betty Bland, President of the Theosophical Society in America and a near-death survivor
The Audible Life Stream: Ancient Secret of Dying While Living is an excellent, well-written work. --Nicholas Tharcher, Former Vice-President New Falcon Publications (USA).
It is an innovative, thoroughly researched presentation of an overlooked aspect of spiritual enquiry. I can heartily recommend it to anyone looking for a wider lens on matters of the spirit than provided by mainstream teachings. --Alan Mann, Editor, NOWletter and Capacitie website (Australia)

What I found by the end of the book was that after all the talk about how connecting with this audible life stream while living helps to reduce the fear of dying, it is then glossed over at the end without information on how to supposedly do this - the author basically says that you need to consult with a living mystic who knows how to do this and who can teach you, and does not tell you how you are supposed to find such, and says that they will find you! Then there is some brief talk of the need to be a vegetarian (for Karmic purposes), meditate and do yoga, and that's about it.
So, I found this book did nothing to help with my fear of death - maybe nothing can. I feel this is a book that will sell based on people's fear, and provide little comfort.

But they conquer death
Who die before their death."
The book was fantastic.
Death has never sounded more beautiful (no pun intended!).
We must die to our senses to be able to percieve the Audible Life Stream. People that are familiar with its power are people who have experienced outer Body Experiences, Near Death Experiences and mystics capable of great concentration during meditation.
The Near Death Experience descriptions really pulled at my imagination as I tried to imagine unseen shapes and colors and the beautiful unearthly music that the people were describing. I wondered who I would see, the places I'd go and the music I would hear when I pass from this realm or learn to master my senses.
The Grim Reaper became the keeper of liberation and not a shadowy reminder of my future demise. For underneath his hooded façade lay worlds of awe to be thoroughly charted! The book made the darkness look like an incredibly thin layer for this book turned death to where we could see it from the less threatening side view...
