The other side of Mr. V 4 July 2006
By Johan Svahnstrom - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Not sure how to review this album. Well first of all, if you are thinking you are going to find a Vintersorg album when you buy Waterclime, you are mistaken. I'm not saying that Vintersorg fans shouldn't buy this cd, they should, but it sounds very little like Mr. V's other music. So how does it sound? Well it's almost impossible to compare it to anything but if I have to... A little Flower Kings, A little early Genesis, a little Kansas, and maybe a little more like excellent Swedish prog band Ritual.

One thing is true though. This cd shows a new aspect of the intelligence and creativity of Mr. V.

If I should have one complaint about the cd (which I really shouldn't), it is that the songs are a little too short for my liking. I often find myself really getting into and enjoying a tune when it is suddenly rather abruptly over. Oh well, I guess I can live with that.

Overall a magnificant album by one of our times most brilliant musicians / songwriters.
