Product Description

The purpose of this book is to extend the notion of adult education as an overtly political action by exploring activist dimensions of arts and crafts-based learnign practices from around the world. The advance of neo-liberal policies across global borders has increased interest in the imagination and creativity. For some, this means innovative products, increased productivity and more effective and applicable outcomes. An Inspirational Book 25 Feb 2011
By Annabel
Format:Paperback
I really liked this book because it talks about adult education in the more practical sense of the word.
Adults have commitments and it is not always possible to get them engaged in an activity on a regular basis.
However, the ideas expressed in this book were rather inspirational to me because the authors get the message across that education has to be a realistic and a practical one. I particularly liked the Quilts project and the Theatre Project. Well done to such a valid contribution.
