Absolutely Vital 9 Jan 2011
I really have no idea how my art practice survived before I got this book. Everything is so accessible, and the advice in the preludes to each chapter has made the prospect of talking about what I do alot less daunting. It gives you good ideas about who you should be talking to and how to contact them. As a result this has made me feel more confident in the work that I produce.

It doesn't fail to acknowledge that we all have to make our own action and judgements about what is right for our own methods of working, which gives me even more confidence in this trustworthy companion in the difficult world of the struggling artist.

Brilliant!! 6 Jan 2011
I had heard that this series of books were great so i got the 2010/2011 one and its fantastic. Ive never seen such a helpful book or directory for artists/art students/ people beginning their creative career. I found the section on funding, ie amounts, who from, how to apply and who may be eligable, extremly helpful. I will be buying updated versions in the future.
