This is a nice little book covering the basics of soldering and giving a little explanation of some higher level skills such as surface mount work. Good reference guide and definitely recommended for newcomers to the world of soldering.

No matter how good the book the best advice on how to improve your soldering is this: buy a temperature controlled soldering iron. Nothing else will make as big a difference to the quality of your soldering. It's like night and day.

This is advertised as a book but in truth is a very poor quality bookLET.
The paper is diabolical and the illustrations are childlike.
An absolute waste of money and I'm surprised Amazon allows the sale of such rubbish.
