i'm a 'mixed media jeweler' and i decided to approach resins to expand my view on materials.i read so many good comments on this book that i decided to buy it. i opened the first pages and understood that the title was at least optimistic. where is the ART mentioned? it is true, when you begin you need to know technical uses and boring stuff but since in the case of resins everything reduces to a couple of things -timing,doses,temperature...and plus these vary from brand to brand, therefore you must experiment different products and models and a book can be of little help- there was plenty of space to make a real artistic and unconventional use of resins.on the contrary, the author preferred to carry out very easy projects for quite insignificant pieces.i've found the same suggestions in youtube videos on resins. so: probably for someone who has never done a piece of jewelry of no kind in life, but then, why not call the book simply 'basic techniques and easy projects with resin'?
