An Essential Read. 24 Dec 2009
Format:Hardcover
A great little book for anyone interested in becoming a psychotherapist or purely interested in what a psychotherapist does. Definately worth adding to your collection.

Beautifully Written 20 Nov 2009
Format:Paperback
Storr's 'The Art of Psychotherapy' is a very readable and to-the-point introduction to (analytical) psychotherapy. He eschews jargon and technical words and describes for the layman, patient and practitioner, what psychotherapy is, the people who conduct it, the range of cases it covers and possible outcomes of the psycho-therapeautic process.

Rather dated now but still very much worth reading. A complete absence of psychobabble- Storr is crisp, clear and to the point.
