Iconoclastically Inspirational 8 April 2010
By Teremoana Rapley - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
Whether you are a practicing artist, have a love for street art or simply curious about street art - this book is a must read! Finally a book has arrived on our shelves that encompasses the very long and interesting life of gifted artist, Chaz Bojorquez.

If you didn't know who Bojorquez is, you will after reading this book.

A close up and personal, humble, honest interview runs the length of the book, with additional insights of the artist from people whom have worked with him - not forgetting to mention the plethora of work completed over four decades.

The design and lay out of the book is superb - it makes sense, its clear and concise, with a catalogue of works that I can only assume is not his complete collection, but just a sample of his-story. There are works that you are most probably familiar with throughout the book but had no clue until now that they were penned by Bojorquez himself.

Simply, Bojorquez is an artist who is a gem in the world of artistic expression - lateral thinkers and learners will appreciate the fact that the universe has put someone like Bojorquez out there for us. Read and enjoy.

Beautiful Calligraphy, wonderful book presentation 1 Nov 2011
By Mon Graffito - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
Before buying the book I only had a vague idea of what a "street writer" might me. Ive heard names and digging deeper in the history of the street art, I have "discovered" Bojorquez. I like calligraphy and his writing is one of the most spectacular I have seen in Western culture. The book makes you understand how that came about.
