Not really what I would call an "art of" book 26 Mar. 2013

This probably should have been called "Art from" instead of "Art of".

As the description states, this is a catalog from a Sotheby's 1989 exhibition, so don't buy this looking for a lot of concept art. It has a couple of line drawings, but almost all of the pictures are movie cells that were to be auctioned, so this is basically a book full of screen captures (most of which are about 3x2"). There are a few (very few) images from scenes that were cut from the movie, so that's nice. In the bottom right hand corner are some animations of Roger and Jessica if you flip the pages.

I purchased a used copy of this, so I'm glad I didn't pay full price. It's a good book if you're a Roger Rabbit fan, but you could instead just pause the Blu Ray during your favorite scenes for bigger images.
Hopefully somebody will release an actual "The Art of Who Framed Roger Rabbit" book.
This is not at all what I expected. 8 April 2014

I thought this was an art book with concept drawings and such.
Nope, it's from an auction back in the 80's to buy framed images from the movie.
I shouldn't have drunkenly bought this one night.
