Product Description

Warning: Contains moderate BDSM themes, detailed sexual encounters, profanity, Dom/me in action.

Having moved on from the terrible events of two months earlier, Dylan and Isa try to move on with their lives. Things seem to be going well as they grow into the roles of their unconventional D/s relationship, each learning the give and take of power and pain, accepting and giving love unconditionally, and respecting each other's wants, desires and need for control.

But Isa has been fighting with the demons of her past. Recurring nightmares have begun to plague her and fear of the future overwhelms her on a daily basis. Her desire for control and independence prevent her from sharing her deepest fears with the man she loves, threatening to drive a wedge between the couple.

With gentle yet stern prodding from her cherished Dom, Isa confides in Dylan and their bond grows deeper. But their kinky fairy tale existence is all too good to be true when Isabel's father sets forth a chain of events that will test their love and loyalty for each other, and Isa is forced to decide which is more important - Dylan's life or her happily ever after.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow!!! 14 Jun 2013
By Lewlin
Format:Kindle Edition
I totally loved this story and loved reading all three books in the series. Ella Dominguez has a natural flare for writing and painted a beautiful picture with her words. She has obviously researched her subject well. Her chapters flow nicely and the transition between the end of one book to the start of the next was smooth.

This is not a book all about bdsm...this is a true love story. Throughout all the books, you can see the growing love between Dylan and Isa, how they both made sacrifices to reassure the other of their complete devotion.

Yes there is a lot of BDSM play, which at times can be quite uncomfortable reading if that's not your thing, but I think that's secondary to the love story.

It was nice to read chapters from Sawyer's point of view and yes there was a bromance going on with him and Dylan!!

Personally, I loved this book, I loved all three books in the series and would recommend it. Thankyou for a beautiful trilogy Ms Dominguez.

5.0 out of 5 stars Holy Hot Sauce, what a finale! Loved it. 4.5* 7 Jun 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
The Art of Control (The Art of D/s, #3) by Ella Dominguez

Holy Angst Overload! This Pussycat needs to take a deep breath and calm her tits...

This series finale was edge of seat panty gripping stuff as drama after drama unfolded. It was incredibly emotional, sweltering hot, and executed perfectly.

If you are intrigued by BDSM romances or the idea as a whole, then bypass the 101 handbook and read this series, because Dylan Young will teach you everything you need to know. ;)

*

"You know, despite what society says, sexual sadism isn't actually a sickness. Quite the contrary, it's a lifestyle choice. Some people just need to pull their heads out of their asses and wake up to the new sexual revolution."

Ella exceeded all my expectations with this 3rd and final instalment of the Art of D/s trilogy. Whether you enjoy BDSM `erotica' based fiction or not, there is no denying the fact that Ella Dominguez has taken a taboo subject and translated it into one of acceptance and beauty.

I'm not saying this series is an easy read. Dylan is the ultimate `dominating' alpha, he can be incredibly intimidating and highly self absorbed but the love that he and Isa feel for each-other goes above and beyond anything `vanilla.' As a reader it consumes you. It pulls you in... and it doesn't let go.

The bedroom/dungeon/shower/public bathroom cubicle/sex-club scenes are HOTTER THAN HELL! They even managed to make me blush more than once and that is something in itself! But that's only one aspect of it, because this book is so much more!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wowsers! Dylan and Isa I am going to miss you 1 Jun 2013
By An avid reader. TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Format:Kindle Edition
Before I go into the gushy part of reviewing this last book in the trilogy I have got say that I was very close to knocking a star off at the 1st quarter of this book. I was having a hard time reading so many sex scenes - yeah I know seems ridiculous doesn't it, but there was such a fest going on I was getting frustrated at where the story had disappeared to. But I can happily say it settled down and the plot came exploding back to the forefront, stayed on track and oh boy I can only say that this ended perfectly.

I have been glued to this trilogy and I am little sad it's come to an end. Dylan and Isa will forever stay with me and I will without a doubt revisit them.

I can hand on heart say this is only the third author that I've read that brought to life the sadism element in a loving way in the BDSM enviroment i.e. nothing to do with captivity or stockholm syndrome. It was hard to swallow some of the nastier/pain filled scenes but they were written with such care and attention and the love of these two characters completely out shone the intense play that they loved and needed. Yes this is what the whole story revolved around, it was centre stage but it was so much more too and it was brought to life in an extremely colourful way.

4.0 out of 5 stars Uncomfortable 23 May 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I'm glad I read this trilogy. I have enjoyed getting to know Dylan and Is a and the ending was very fitting if a little rushed I thought. I did find that some of the scenes made me feel a little uncomfortable. Like in all the books the BDSM lifestyle is explored and written about in a way that leaves nothing to the imagination, I felt in this book, it was too much, but that's just me personally. Overall I did enjoy this book although I would have liked the epilogue to focus on their lives a little bit later on but again that's just me.
