5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful, varied collection 10 Jan 2013

This is a great collection of cards, comparable in quality to the other 100 postcard sets around. The cards are stout enough, a bit thicker than the Marvel 100 card set, but not quite as thick as the Puffin or Vanity Fair card sets. The paper feels nice, and each card gives you the details about the comic book. The box they arrive in is very nice, sturdy, and the lid image is embossed.

As for the card assortment, here's the breakdown. There are five categories of comic represented: romance, earthbound mystery (generally sci-fi/fantasy), space adventures, crime, and war comics. And here's the proportioning:
Romance: 29
Earthbound mystery: 30
Space adventures: 14
Crime: 19
War comics: 8

All in all, I highly recommend this set. It's a wonderful selection, with a lot of great (read: hilariously insane) covers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must get 31 May 2013

I'm an avid post carder, I send over 300 post cards a year. I've bought just about every series of postcards out in print and I must say this box set has one of the highest qualities I've ever seen. Usually with a 100 postcard set, I'll end up using aobut 50 to 60 of the post cards, the rest not being memorable enough to merit using. With this set however, 100% of the images are great and I can totally use. The box also contains three different genre's, lovelorn, terror, and action comics. The quality of the card stock is amazing too.

5.0 out of 5 stars A KALEIDOSCOPE OF COLOR AND ACTION 6 April 2013

These cards were even better than I anticipated. The cardstock has has a wonderful finish I can only describe as silky-matte and the graphics are vivid and colorful. My favorite has to be the giant man-eating plant with gigantic curved teeth wrapping its leafy tentacle around a test tube wielding mad scientist while his lovely assistant hovers in the background. If you like kitschy vintage fun, you will love these.
I bought them to use for Postcrossing (if you are not familiar with this worldwide card exchange, check it out online) but there are many I don't think I can bear to part with!

It's a nice selection of vintage postcards printed on thick paper with a high quality matte finish and no white borders.
It comes in a really well made paper/carton box. Good value.
I bought 400 cards to cover a wall in my living room and the result was amazing.
