Product Description

Cat, Kassie, Sian and Loi are anything but damsels in distress. Fed up with a lack of decent male specimens they cast a love spell in the hopes of finding their soul-mates. And inadvertently land themselves on another planet.
Oops
The Arrival, follows the girls' adventures as they stumble through a foreign and often hostile world where humans are NOT at the top of the food chain. Friendships are forged and love teeters on the horizon while the threat of civil war looms thanks to the girls' very unexpected 'gifts'. Will the girls master these gifts in time to survive a war in which, not only are they the ultimate weapons, but also the ultimate prize...

Book two of The BirthRight Trilogy - Awakening - is now available.

A note to the potential reader, this book utilizes multiple POV - if you click the 'Look Inside' button over the cover on this page, you can read the sample to see if it's to your liking.
Please note; this is a trilogy--a single,
continuing story. The books must be read in order to make sense. This is not a
series.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Arrival 14 Feb 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Four young women from New Zealand cast a "love spell" to find their soul mates and end up being transported to another world. An interesting start to a cracking novel.
The Arrival has good world-building and the characters actually come up with a reason they can speak with and understand the locals. The interraction and 'relationship development's' between the girls and their guides/rescuers The Griffon Guards is not too cloying and girly. People may look at the 'blurb' for the book and think it's one for the girls but trust me - it isn't.
The magic system is clever and works well and not just enough time is spent with the girls learning to harness their abilities.
The one thing that troubled me at first was the multiple PoVs but once I was into the story I hardly even noticed it and to be honest I think the style actually added to the story.
The book ended on the biggest cliffhanger ending I believe I have come across yet and I really cannot wait for the second book in the Birthright series to be published

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow 13 Dec 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Really great book would highly reccomend it to everyone (all my friends are reading it too) so far i have read it 3 times and decided to review it.

1. Yes the narrotor of the story changes from the 4 main characters(Cat,Kassie,Sian and Loi) quite frequently though once you get passed the first chapter or two you can tell who is the narrator as you get to know the girls (as they all have diffrent ways of thinking and personalites)but if you ever get lost just think of the narrator as Cat as it is mostly from her POV.

2.As far as the story goes it is really good and well thought out dont want to waste it for anyone so i wont go into to much detail,i'll just say this Hot guys, magic ,Evil Beings,Dragons, elf's, bitchy ex girlfriends, twist with one of the HOT guys and of course the Griffons ;-)whats n't to love ;-)

3.I'm always reading shifter and vampire books and decided to give it a try and am very happy i did at £2.21 it's a bargin !

This book has been re-uploaded on 29/11/11 to include a map and glossary of characters. It has also been fully re-formatted and edited.

so that should also help if you get a bit lost.

1.0 out of 5 stars Painfully full of clichés and confusingly narrated.
From the start the set up and the plot are painfully obvious, which would be just about tolerable for a sword & sorcery if it weren't for the disjointed and bland narration. Read more
