This is an accessible and informative guide to making your money work for you and for making sound investments leading to long term returns. You don't need millions or even tens of thousands to play the stock market and win, but you will need a guiding hand to help show you the way to make the most of the opportunities available to the small investor. Here, Bernice Cohen outlines her FASTER GAINS method and points out the most common pitfalls for the beginner investor.

This is a superb book for the novice investor or someone with a small amount of experience. The author explains where whe collects her research for shares and how she organises the data. Without research one might as well put money on the 3.30 at Ascot for all the results it will produce.

I have found the information invaluble for helping me research my investments in a logical manner thus removing some of my panic and increasing my confidence.

Bernice Cohen's book correlates with other well respected investors, such as Jim Slater and so will appeal to people who want to understand the donkey work that is needed for investing.

This book is well written and useful in helping the novice investor understand some of the technical jargon. Mrs. Cohen gives valuable advice on many aspects of investing. Well worth it.

The main premise of this book seems to be the author's "Fastergains" concept, on examination it is clear that this concept is flawed. Applying the concept to virtually any five year period in history shows it to be utter bunk! Apart from this the author is a gifted story teller, again a bit of a flaw if you are looking for a book to base your investments (not to mention hard earned cash) on.
