Product Description

"...superbly crafted and entertaining mystery adventures..." –Midwest Book Review

"Nice thrills and chills. The authors have obviously done their archeological homework, and in between all the mysterious goings-on, we learn fascinating details of Hatshepsut's stormy reign. The Egyptology is all there, and it's enjoyable." –Mystery Scene Magazine

Outside a small village near the Valley of the Kings, archaeologist Ardis Cole arrives in Egypt to help excavate a tomb recently discovered by her mentor, Jane Darvin. When Jane is murdered, Ardis must assume responsibility for the project.

With the help of mysterious Blake Lydon, she must unravel the tomb’s mystery—an ancient secret concerning two miniature obelisks of gold hidden by Queen Hatshepsut’s love, Senmut, over 2000 years ago.

As Ardis uncovers the ancient mystery, she finds herself drawn into a modern action tale of hatred, murder, and revenge.

This is the story of an archeologist, Ardis Cole, who is asked by a lifelong friend and mentor, to help search for a hidden tomb in ancient Egypt. The story brings to life the Souks and ancient monuments in Cairo and Luxor, almost bringing to life the smells, sounds and taste of the ancient and modern cultures. The book is intertwined with murder, hate, theft, greed, love and anger. This book is a really good and exciting read, I am sure that if the following books in the series are half as good, the author (s) will definitely top the crime or suspense thriller lists. A gripping read I could not put down until the end. I read this book in an evening and can't wait to start the next one!

3.0 out of 5 stars Great story, badly written 1 July 2012

A really great story, excrutiatingly badly written. None of the characters come alive; and the "hero' is such a cardboard cut-out, he's positively plank-like. But the story's really good.
