5.0 out of 5 stars All books should be this good 30 Jun 2006
By 2 sexy 4 U - Published on Amazon.com
I seldom comment online about any new book, especially one from an author I've never read before. But, this book was just way too good not to mention. Great characters with real depth, non-stop action, nice touches of humor to lighten the mood and a spiritual message for all. So intense, at times I thought it was really happening. What more could you want? My congratulations to the author. I really enjoyed this!

1.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Plot 11 Dec 2007
By TK - Published on Amazon.com
The plot is interesting, though hackneyed. Of course, the whole virgin birth and savior of the world is based on the Bible, but loads of other books use the same plot. I went through the book waiting for something more interesting to happen. Sadly, it never did.

Another thing I have against this book is its obvious male target group. Almost all the male characters, when we are first introduced to them, are engaging in some carnal knowledge. They all can fight. The female characters are all incredibly beautiful and unhealthily skinny. Who has ever heard of a healthy 110 Lb 5'8" woman?

What annoys me the most is the lack of depth to the character. They don't change and are static in their stereotypical roles. The grandparents of the Asian guy were caricature. They belonged in a cartoon.

Why am I the only one who thinks this book deserves 1 star? Everyone can't think this book is great. There should be a normal distribution on all levels of ratings; it's too skewed to one side. I checked and most of the other reviewers have written one or two reviews, and they haven't reviewed anything else in over a year. What's going on?

5.0 out of 5 stars Confidently recommended to the attention of science fiction and fantasy enthusiasts 12 Aug 2006
By Midwest Book Review - Published on Amazon.com
"The Archangels Of Dreamland" by Steven L. Fawcette is a high-tech science fiction thriller about a family who discovers a conspiracy concerning technology from the future that can destroy the world. It wasn't extraterrestrials that gave early humans an advantage, its was time-traveling future men and women who got things going for the human race at the dawn of time. A covert government agency is has acquired that time-travel technology giving them an ability to alter history and they have done so in the past. Now they intend to unleash supernatural forces capable of global sale disasters -- and they will unless they can be stopped. "The Archangels Of Dreamland" documents Steven Fawcette as a gifted storyteller and is confidently recommended to the attention of science fiction and fantasy enthusiasts.
