An ideal introductory slide set for the Practitioner, Researcher and Scholar microscopes (the Examiner and Explorer Plus stereomicroscopes do not need slides so this set is not appropriate for these two microscopes). Making your own slides can be very rewarding but it is always useful to have some professionally prepared slides to look at right away. This set can be the beginning of your own collection or you can add to it from our other two slide set options

instructions very poor, book that comes with it although written in 1948 is good. you can get a much better starter set from other suppliers and save money.

A great value microscope, really well made like a more expensive model, easy to use, simple for kids, you just focus it. Very clear view. Would recommend. Note: this model is not made to use with the slides that are advertised with it on Amazon, you just place things like coins and hairs on the little platform. David, Leeds, West Yorkshire
