Product Description

Review

"The Anatomy colouring and workbook is an admirable resource for students learning anatomy for the first time. As a first year physiotherapy student, I am finding this workbook an invaluable source. It integrates simplicity with detail throughout and it is an extremely useful study guide. The text is easy to read and not overwhelming, with an added bonus of humour attached. This workbook has fantastic features, starting with mnemonics and fun word plays, these memory devices have aided me in remembering difficult concepts. Other features include, colour in pictures, this to me is genius as it enabled me picture and locate muscles, nerves and bony points which is imperative in physiotherapy."
Therese Tully, Physiotherapy student, University of Salford

As a first year physiotherapy student the thought of studying anatomy seemed a daunting prospect. The anatomy colouring and workbook has since laid all my fears to rest and has become an integral part of my learning experience. The book makes difficult concepts easy to understand and easy to follow with its clever use of mnemonics, graphics and top tips. I highly recommend this book to anyone studying anatomy. Traditional text books have their place but the workbook offers the fun factor and makes studying anatomy an enjoyable experience.

This book was recommended to me by the author prior to starting my degree. I purchased it a whole year before starting my course just to have a look at what i would be facing.

This book has been a god send throughout my first year and i absolutely love it ! Self-directed study is difficult to get your head around after years of school education where everything you need to learn is dictated to you in a classroom, so its easy to get bogged down in too much anatomy. This is where this book comes in sooo handy. It covers all the important bits in a way that is really easy to understand. The self-test quizes aren't tedious, the mneumonics make remembering difficult things easier and the pictures that can be drawn on are a welcome relief to the text and complicated diagrams in so many reading list anatomy text books.

I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone and am planning on buying another one this summer so i can complete it again and refresh my learning over the summer holidays :)

As a trainee massage therapist, I was struggling with checking my anatomy and physiology knowledge. Other reviews made me choose this one and it's been great. A big bonus is the photographs of real bodies with bone and muscle landmarks highlighted over the skin. I think it's aimed at 1st year medical students but I found it easy to follow. Recommended!
