This excellent, well written study scrutinises current and future events pertaining to the US, the West & indeed the International community as a whole, in relation to the subject of Biblical prophecy. Many will perhaps find the contents contentious but the text will grip the reader's attention throughout.
This particular study analyses the alleged "failures" to deal with Islamic fundamentalism in the context of the attacks upon the World Trade Centre and the implications of the ensuing "war on terrorism" together with what the book describes as a "moral compromise" that has allegedly seen Bible believing Christians in America being demonized as "bigots and extremists" whilst alleging that God has simultaneously been "dethroned" and taken out of schools, courts & other areas of authority.
The roots of the alleged hostility of Islamic fundamentalists towards America & the West is also discussed. Many will find these & other issues contentious but the book provides what many will see as a determined case to answer. Read and digest.
This presentation declaring at the outset that the agenda being pursued throughout the book is a sincere attempt to "stare into God's eternal Word" and to search for "His purpose and plan" in the midst of all "the chaos on the planet".
Central to this "purpose and plan" the book scrutinises the Holy Scriptures as to the significance of the Jewish people, their state of Israel and the magnitude of the situation surrounding Jerusalem.
Amongst a plethora of Biblical references surrounding these pivotal subjects is that of Genesis ch12;v1-3 which relates to a statement shown by Hebrew-Christian Scripture to have been made by God to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (the Jews);- "...

Format: Paperback
This remarkable book traces the relationship of the USA to Israel from a Biblical perspective , written by Christian Evangelist and true righteous gentile Mike Evans

The book explains that , the way the USA treats Israel, will determine the future of the USA , working on the prophecy found in Genesis that G-D has given the Land of Israel to the Jewish People and will bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel.

Mike Evans urges the USA to side with Israel and the Jews , and so choose a ' Great Awakening' instead of a 'Rude Awakening' by going against Israel and siding with the Arabs , whose aim is that not one Jew should remain alive in the Land of Israel, or what the Arabs and their supporters refer to as 'Palestine'.

Evans reveals the words spoken by Bill clinton's pastor to the future President when he was still Governor of Arkansas:

"You might be President one day . You will make mistakes and G-D will forgive you. But G-D will never forgive you if you abandon the State of Israel"

Evans also explores the hatred of Israel by Moslems and their leftist allies , making it clear it is pure racism , that anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism are one and the same thing. As Martin Luther KIng Junior put it: " When people criticize Zionism they mean Jews, Zionism is nothing less than the dream and ideal of the Jewish people, returning to live in their own land.

9 of 15 people found the following review helpful By Paul Taylor on 19 Sept. 2004
Format: Hardcover
This is an admittedly controversial book. It is controversial, because it challenges all the tired old cliches and mythologies about the Middle East and America's relationship to it.
There is even more reason for UK readers to read this book than American, because the errors of understanding present in the USA are even more entrenched in UK thought.
Although the book's premises are controversial, they are meticulously researched. Where the author challenges the accepted orthodoxy, he backs up his position with chapter and verse. The result is that the book is criticised by knee-jerk responses. For example, I would hazard a guess that the reviewer from Oxford, dated Sept 10th, probably hasn't even read the book. It is too easy to dismiss views one finds as uncomfortable as "right-wing". That is lazy thinking.
This is probably one of the most important, detailed and scholoarly analyses of international politics of recent years. Get it. Be offended. Then study what is said, and you will find the author is right.

So much illthought out nonsense has been written and spoken on the whole Middle East/EU/USA in the last decade. It is so sad where politicians of the highest rank and the man in the street offer opinions on the state of the world today without any foundational underscoring of the subject.
Mr Evans brings the ONLY foundation that can make sense of today, ie the Bible, and thus makes a relevant assessment of the political/spiritual maelstrom we find today.
Instead of speaking opinion I urge you to bring this book into your library and from the foundation of Holy Scripture be truly informed of the days in which you live.
I also recommend you purchase Mr Evans' excellent, 'Jerusalem Betrayed' as a further important book to read.
Well done Mr Evans.
