5.0 out of 5 stars Great ephemeris for practising astrologers. 5 Jan 2013

Thorough, detailed, easy to read and use. I particularly like the fact that the entries are based on noon data rather than midnight - I find this less confusing! Good, too, that it covers a whole century.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the Best... 20 April 2003

I've been teaching astrology since 1978 and have found over the years that students will always make fewer mistakes using a NOON based ephemeris rather than midnight based. If you're starting to learn the math for astrology this is a very good ephemeris to go with. Eventually you'll probably buy them all, because they all have pluses and minuses. Neil Michelsen was a Virgo's Virgo for accuracy and his numbers can be relied on.

5.0 out of 5 stars American Ephemeris for the 21st Century 1900-2000 at Noon 25 Aug 2006
By Elizabeth Lickliter - Published on
Very, very good reference guide to have on hand for checking planets, sun, moon placements for friends, relatives, and co-workers. It is also surprisingly easy to use and is an excellent tool to have on hand for astrological use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definative Tool 6 April 2000
By Marie Sultana Robinson - Published on
What can I say? This is a definative tool for anyone doing any kind of astrology. It's a must have. Without an emphemeris, it's just not precise!
5.0 out of 5 stars Positions of All Planets For the Entire 20th Century 17 Jun 2014

This is one of the most basic books for astrologers. My lover studied Astrology at Metaphysical Town Hall in San Francisco, so he knows which books to use. His library needed updating, so I ordered this book from It came in a sturdy package and arrived amazingly quickly. The book is in excellent condition. It is well-written and easy to use in adding all of the planets to a birth or progressed chart. He has many small books for individual years, but this one covers 1900 to 2000, so it is a one book reference.

Mailed in great shape. The essential ephemeris for all astrological work. Would tell all my friends but they already know this.
