What do you want? 29 Dec 2007
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
This - the first album from Knight Area - is Prog and proud of it!
IQ, Marillion, Camel, Pendragon and Yes.
Wonderful fills, great arrangements with grand designs!
This Dutch band take great care over their product and it shows; they are not in any hurry.
Articulate and intelligent but certainly not mundane or boring, the songs flow and soar.
If you are into any of the above bands; or if you like good solid rock music, with an AOR tinge - then buy this.
Don't listen to me - listen to the music!!
(Then go and buy their second album!!)

Progasm ! 11 Nov 2008
By R. W.

I have only just received this, and only got as far as track 3, and I already feel compelled to write this quick review.

This album is BRILLIANT ! I can hardly contain myself.

If you like your Camel, Genesis, Pendragon, IQ, Arena etc then this is absolutely for you.

Lovely singing, beautiful layered textures, and a very modern production.

Do not miss this !

Smooth brilliance 4 April 2009
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is indeed a fine album. I was somewhat wrong-footed by the first track being twenty-seven seconds long but it is a jewel in itself and prepares you for the delights that are to follow. There are no rough edges here and nothing remotely dark and twisted; no need to turn up the volume before the soul is stirred. It is wonderfully serene - sometimes Genesis at their most tranquil - and all eleven musicians dovetail perfectly. Guitar and keyboards are both given plenty of air and the vocalist has got a great voice - no grating here.

It's unashamedly well-behaved prog. Pure balm.
