The Alpha Course Manual is a must have for the Alpha course. It provides the participants with a useful summary of each session with bible references and space for personal notes to be made. This enables a personal record to be made of particular insights and questions as the Alpha course progresses week by week. The subject matter and material from earlier weeks can then be relooked at as the weeks progress.

Worth it's weight in Gold!

I have been involved with this course 3 times now at church and we used this manual plus the DVD's. The manual is very worthwhile because it brings back to thought the DVD's and can also be used to work ahead of the DVD to get the scriptures in mind AND for excellent discussions afterward. Also, the manual is great to use all alone to put in to order some of life's questions in light of Jesus and Christian values. A wonderful study guide. The only drawback is the manual does not include the humor that Niki Gumble brings to light in the DVD. Find a course in your area and go, if you can, you will be blessed.
