Fantastic read! Age is not an issue, Robin reaches out and provides entertainment for all ages!
This book is fantastic, and would recommend it to anyone. Written with such style and precision (aided by the amazing illustrations!), the reader can visualise every scene and every character with ease! An emotional rollercoaster at times, this book can not be ignored! Go and buy it now, although I warn you....... once you start reading his books, you won't be able to stop! :)

This book is one of the best I have ever read! Robin Jarvis does not stray into any of the cliches which fill the Redwall books, and the narrative flows beautifully and fluently. The plot is gripping, and I guarantee you will not be able to put this book down.

Gripping story but not for cat lovers!
This is a great story but I do have to say that anyone who is sentimental about animals should stay clear. It actually made me wonder about Robin Jarvis's state of mind.

Excellent, but read the Deptford Mice first
The Deptford Histories are also a great Jarvis read but are a little harder to get into than the Deptford Mice. Read the Oaken Throne and Thomas afterwards (in that order). Read more

Superb book,not to be missed!
Even better than Harry Potter. This book has some of everything,frightening yet exciting but also sad in some bits. Definately one of the best books I have ever read.
