Although it isn't the longest play this duet of soliloquies is taking me forever to get through as I could read it again and again. Stephanie's speeches flow particularly well: incredibly natural. Would recommend her for any actor looking for a good audition monologue. However - even just as a good read - this play will make you think.

A pushy single mother want to propell her young daughter into the spotlight. A teenage boy, convicted of murder, awaiting release having served his time in a correctional facility. A story told in two monologues in sequence with each other. One of the strongest and highly controversial pieces of our time. Recommended.

I thought both monologues were very good. Timmy's monologue was suberb I thought. Yes he could be likened to Robert Thompson but his vulnerability and fear shines through. A bit like Boy A pre-release mode. Read it, you won't regret it :-)

I brought this play book for my course work and it was worth every penny. Such a great play and I was satisfied and very drawn in by it. Decent pricing for it also.
