4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Music and Sound Quality, Terrible Vocals 7 July 2012
By Rÿan Matthew - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
The sound quality on this album is phenomenal. No distortion, no clipping, audible bass, intricate guitars, clear, defined drums. Seriously, this is what the original thrash bands should be sounding like on disc instead of crackly crap like what Rick Rubin does.

Anyway, the songs are really good, but the vocals ruin it. This band has never been that great in the vocal department anyway, but the original guy was more tolerable. It seems like the new singer was going for the incompetent 'Paul Baloff' style or something.

The songs are easier to digest than the two previous albums, where they often sounded the same in certain parts. Each song is distinguishable, but not stripped down or simplified which is a great plus. Definitely worth it for fans of the band or anyone who loves thrash.

I bought Exiled to Earth & loved it, so I bought this which is graet, but I still like Exiled to Earth more.
5.0 out of 5 stars Progressive Thrash (?) 20 Sep 2012

I think the vocals on this CD are very good and an improvment over the original screamer. These guys do the S.O.S. just different enough to sound original without destroying what us thrashomaniacs love about our noise!!!!!Slik Solos abound!!!!!

Thrash till deaf do us part!
