I am so pleased that I found this series of books all of which I have now read and thoroughly enjoyed. Although they are all set in the same location they are quite varied, well drawn and all have more than a touch of humour with, on occasion, leanings towards farce. Great for a winter read.

Another good book from Anderson.This one particularily enjoyable, the suspense not disagreable,the denoument interesting. Worth a read!

I do alot of train and plane journeys and use them to catch up on chill out time. I am a great bed time reader as well and having read of Ms Christie's have discovered this author. Am glad I did.

I have recently read the Affair of the 39 Cufflinks and I did enjoy it. The second book in this short series, The Affair of the Mutilated Mink did not work as well for me. Read more

I really enjoyed this book. The plot was well thought out and kept me guessing. Inspector Wilkins is a realistic type of detective and makes me smile.
