I bought this book for 30p from a charity shop and will be taking it back there tomorrow morning. It is as riveting as an article from Take a break magazine.
The characters are weak, the dialogue is stiff and unbelievable. I do not know what gave me the strength to turn each page.

I cannot believe that I can now purchase books oN Amazon for the same as I would pay in my local charity shop, and with free delivery. Well done Amazon. This particular book was not in the best condition, but nevertheless it was readable, the condition stated that the book was in good condition, I feel that was not true! But for the price I don't think it was worth complaining.

What a fabulous book. It is one of those that you just cannot put down and leaves you wanting more.
The characters of Alison and Catherine are so well written and Rowan makes you feel such empathy for them - even the husbands Marc and Jimmy are written so that whatever they have done, you feel sorry for them and want to see everything turn out right.
The setting and plot, returning to a place that the character grew up in and finding her best friend, makes you feel nostalgic for your own childhood and the friends that you had and lost.
This book has it all, fun, romance, sadness and once you have read this, you will want to buy another Rowan Coleman book right away.
