5.0 out of 5 stars Call it a Cure for Writer's Block 24 Feb 2014
By Michael A. Longinow - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition
So you think you can write. But it's been a while. Or you wrote and an editor asked where the story was (sending it back, unpublished.) Michael R. Smith is here. And he's got some answers for you in front of that big screen with your fingers poised over the keys. A great idea can be the juice in the wires that gets your feature-writing up to full throttle. Tab this one up with multi-colored finders so you can grab it quick when on deadline or ease back for some reading when you've got time. We all need inspiration now and then. This book deserves to be on your shelf with the classics.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Author, Helpful Book 22 Aug 2014
By Kyle Huckins - Published on
Michael is a longtime journalist and journalism educator who knows his stuff. He does a good job of naturally expressing his spirituality in the content here, too (not preachy, just uplifting). Features are a critically important part of news, and this volume will help get you headed in the right direction.
