This has got to be one of the best diet books I have ever read. It is easy to follow both in the reading sense and in the dieting sense. It isn't so much a diet as in you have to cut things out, but rather a healthy eating plan. I have been following it for nearly a week now and not only have I lost weight I feel so good within myself as well. This book also gives guidance to those who wish to gain weight or just lead a more healthy lifestyle. Oh and by the way the recipes are DELICIOUS.

The 7 day hay diet --this is a most sensible way of eating, just needs a bit of thought to start with, after that- great way of eating, and all the family can eat this way, and not know its a diet plan! good idea for those who are against diets! also you seem to be able to eat so many things you wouldn't expect to eat on a diet. Like Hash Browns! and beef stroganoff, and there's plenty snack ideas.

I purchased this book and find it to be fairly basic, the recipes are good but nothing that you couldn't come up with yourself. I liked the salad suggestions the best. Overall, I am a bit disappointed with it. It doesn't give much of an explaination of the principles behind the Hay diet.
