TNA Wrestling is one of those things that, in my opinion...is necessary. Now, I am a WWE fan, first and foremost. But TNA has a RIGHT to exist. Let's face facts, WWE was at its hottest when it was the WWF, and warring for supremacy with WCW and ECW in the nineties. Fans deserve alternative presentations of wrestling, and that's what TNA is doing this decade. Competition makes the organizations come up with new ways to entertain fans, and provides what's needed for people who are looking for something different.

TNA has grown steadily in prominence since its birth back in 2002. While it still has a long way to go before it can be considered serious competition to WWE, I like what I've seen from this promotion...to a point. Don't get me wrong, TNA has a lot of awesome talent, a loyal fan base, and all the necessary tools it needs to cement its legacy. It DESERVES to succeed. It just despairs me that it's constantly hampered by insane booking, ridiculous storylines, over-constant face/heel turns, too many gimmicks and Vince Russo, the man who put WCW out of business.

All this madness impeding this otherwise fine promotion...is what's been perfectly captured in this DVD. TNA: The 50 Greatest Moments is a countdown show (presented by the announce team, Mike Tenay and Don West), highlighting the `greatest' moments in TNA's history from 2002 to 2006. The show lasts three hours and features comments from several of TNA's stars.

I have to point out first-off that this is NOT TNA's "50 Greatest Moments". The whole programme feels as though the producers have just randomly chosen a lot of clips to make up this DVD. It feels like WWE's John Cena: My Life DVD, in that it's a good release that could've been so much more, if they'd have bothered to put more effort into it.

More for the original TNA fan rather than the post 2010 era. Great segments that made TNA noticed. Raven getting scapled is horrible

the 50 Greatest Jee Jarret moments this dvd should be called all we got is 5 minute clips of classic matchea a bit of a let down and the fake hosting by mike tennay and don west at the beggining and the end is pretty silly.Dont bother with this unless you wana quick history on TNA.
