Don't let the number of pages in this fantastic book put you off (or the very cheap price), every single page is full of valuable information. Clarence Oliver distils his outlandish knowledge of persuasion and communication into a matrix, which can be applied to any conversation.While I was familiar with lots of the concepts presented within the book, Mr Oliver frames them in an entirely new perspective from any other author I've read, creating lots of light bulb moments for me. Imagine taking knowledge you already have and being able to see it from a totally new perspective that offers you a lot more power, you can picture a different set of results in 6 months time looking back to now.

Make no mistake this is a powerful little book. Amazingly, one single concept in this book has made a profound difference within my communication and relationships with people.Now I'm not asking you to Just accept my opinion because I've read this book; compared it other persuasion and influence books; compared it to courses I've attended and the many e-courses I've purchased over time. Accept it because you've bought the book, read through it and applied the concepts and start to notice the results your getting. Interestingly like any skill in life, much like persuasion, the more you keep practising the ideas contained the book,the more pleasing things happen! A win-win.

Very impressed with this book! Did not expect much for $2.99. I am a successful new car consultant and in my field it is all about right now. They are either in or out....right now. National average is ,if they leave,1 out of 10 will return to buy. Stakes are high because we are 100% commissioned. Book is very direct with no filler. Tells you what is important and why. Will definitely raise your game now matter how good you think you are already. Would reccomend his 5 minute Communicator as a companion.

This has to be the most useful non fiction book that I have read. If you read the try a sample button it seems so simple. And it is but there is so much more to it that the sample doesn't give this book any justice. This book has very specific approaches and examples. It really dives deep into what is needed to be persuading. It really dives deep into how to talk to anyone about anything. I don't care who you are or the reasoning for even looking at this book. It is a MUST HAVE for EVERYONE!!! Okay, I take that back. Everyone but my husband. Ha ha. Absolutely loved it and couldn't put it down. You got to get this book.

This book lays a solid foundation for learning persuasion. I don't believe this book is a life changer or eye opener. He brings a fresh perspective to the table with concrete principles, but don't be misled by the introduction into thinking you will wield a mighty power over someone. I do believe that if you apply these principles that you will become a better persuader. Also there were a ton of grammar and spelling mistakes in this book. I'm not sure if he had someone edit this or not.

The first part of the book is a long descripcion of the thousand of dollars and hours invested by the author in learning Persuation Techniques; then, he brags about how many people he has helped and trained.

That leaves you with the impresion that the book is going to be really good but, in fact, you realize that the "techniques" he describes are the tipical cliches like "look into the eyes of the person", "be a nice guy", etc.

This is a quick, easy read that holds basic truths necessary of any persuader. This is the type of book that provides great jumping-off knowledge and I would encourage all to read it.

Though I enjoyed the book, I have it four stars because of the several misspelled words and a few grammar mishaps. Still, the book delivers on a message worth more than its purchase price.
