I just received this book and im not sure how i feel about it yet, i like it but i don't love it. I bought this book because im trying to change my diet and lifestyle, I want to cut down on my meat consumption and want to crank up the veggies but cook them in interesting new ways instead of the usual steamed and salad veggies. The 30 minute tagline appealed as i want to make things fast and i had a quick browse on the 'look inside' feature and liked what i saw.
I am a little disappointed because i was expecting wholesome family meals i could cook for my children after school and there are a lot of raw or 'live' recipes in here which is not really what im after (i should have realised this as the authors are live chefs and have previously written a raw cookbook) i don't think my children would eat many of these.
I won't dismiss it completely however, i'm going to keep the book and try out some of the recipes and then I'll post again with the results.
I will definitely try the 'live cinnamon rolls' provided i can get hold of the ingredients, (not easy when you live in rural england!) 'macadamia nut encrusted tofu', 'macadamia nut ricotta tomato towers' (i must admit they do look delicious, that's probably the recipe which stands out for me the most),'put the tex in your mex chilli' and 'We will rock you nachos' (that's definitely one the kids will enjoy).
I would just like to point out this is just my personal opinion on first impressions of the book so if you do really like the book, please don't take my criticism too much to heart. You never know, i may end up really liking it!
I would say this is not really a book for families, it's better suited to young professionals who enjoy good food and want to come home after work to a healthy quick meal.

Awesome and additive recipe book-love it, love it, love it. think I`m going to wrap it up and give it to myself again for Xmas.I`ve used so many recipes and also tweeked them if ingredients are not in my cupboard. Best book I have in the kitchen, highly recommend it even to none vegans as tips and food are just great, so simple and effective-only wish chefs and resturants the world over had a copy of this!You have to buy this one.

I own a lot of vegan cook books and this one is by far the best one. Tempeh bacon and scrambled eggs are fantastic. Every recipe is really good. I often just open the book randomly and I'm never disappointed. Also all the ingredients are easy to find and you have most of them around the house which is important for me.
My only "complaint" is that this book would be perfect if they'd have nutritional value of the dishes. I would actually buy another copy if they'd revise it and put it in.
Great book.
