This is a fantastic year for music and an absolutely brilliant compilation. Ive just ordered the original Now 1986 with 40 timeless tunes and used to have the millennium series edition. Sadly I had to give away the millennim version due to lack of space but just gotta get the original Now 1986. For those who are unaware of music or what happened in 1986 it was the year that saw argentina win the world cup and our mp as maggie thacter. Great music from that year kick startin this album with 2 of my fav all time bands from Queen and Dire Straits, more great pop n rock bands on disc 1 including Genesis, Pretenders, The Smiths, Cutting Crew, Status Quo and Mr Mister. Theres also a surprise appearance from Public Image Limited. Disc 2 quite good with appearances from Erasure, the lovely Kim Wilde, James Brown, Level 42 and Simply Red's Holding Back The Years. I was only 3 in 1986 and was probably my earliest memory of music but this is a must have for music fans.
