I must admit I had my doubts when I read on an Auf Weidersehen Pet website that Joe Fagin was going to re-record the classic "That's livin' alright" for the World Cup. I needn't have worried. Joe's captured the spirit of the orignal and brought it bang up to date for all the boys travelling over to Germany this summer. And for those of you staying at home? Well " you can just raise a glass to the boys in a bar full of noise". This is the definitive World Cup anthem of 2006. For the fans by a fan. Good man Joe!

The glam rock remix is a real foot stomper too. Top stuff.

None of your wishy washy boy band nonsense here, but a classic to be roared out down the boozer at half time. In the spirit of Auf Wiedersein Pet there is nothing xenophobic about it either. Jo Fagin sounds like he's been around the block a bit, and the song is all the better for it. Buy it now, and don't miss the German operatic remix... (see the website)

What with all the competition, this has to be the best world cup song since World in Motion. Just like the builders in the TV series. we're off to Germany to find our footballing fortunes.

Track 2, the Glam Pub mix is worth it alone, and we'll definitely be playing it on the coach travelling to the games (unlike that World at your feet track).

Go Joe.... (with a little bit of luck we can lift that world cup).
