I have about 10 books from this series and love them as does my daughter who reads them daily. This one however is disappointing. Some bits are described twice. The 'shiny' eyes are simply a flat black in my book. The texture bit is sometimes quite small and the pictures are pastel colored. Its a bit boring and blah compared to a lot of the others in the series.

I'd go for the truck, dragon, pirate, robot, or tiger ones over this one.

This book has very simple illustrations and is quick and easy to read with your toddler. 'That's not my.... 'on every page get's a smile of anticipation as he waits for the story to be read. The way the story developes using textures is very good. That's Not my Train is also very enjoyable to read with your child.

I bought this book for my one year old and it was a big hit. The illustrations are bold and simple to understand and the feely patches are fantastic; the wooly tail, the scratchy paws etc... Highly recommended as are the other books in this series.

This is a lovely addition to the touchy feely range of books. The book reads;

That's not my bunny, it's paws are too rough
That's not my bunny, it's tail is too woolly
That's not my bunny, it's eyes are too shiny
That's not my bunny, it's nose is too fuzzy
THAT's my bunny, his ears are so soft

Each page details a textures part to the bunny for your little one to feel whilst reading. The book is very durable with thick pages to withstand rough handling by your child. It is a lovely book to read with your little one offering a interactive experience which allows them to become part of the story telling.

The pages of this book are nice and thick. The pages are also laminated so it's not as edible as a lot of other baby books. The book is unisex and is made with paper from a sustainable forest (according to the back page).

Each page has a different texture on (fluffy, rough, soft etc) and bright colours which helps develop babies sensory skills. There is also a different cute bunny on each page (however there is one bunny that isn't as cute as the others!).

The writing is fairly short and simple, and the pictures are bright and glossy. Each page starts with the same phrase which babies really enjoy as it means they can join in and seem to get quite excited by (children love repetition).

My daughter absolutely loved this book. She enjoyed joining in and feeling all the different textures. She also found the book quite amusing. My daughter began to outgrow this book at about 2 years old and now prefers more 'big girl' books.

In my opinion this is a good little book that I fully recommend for babies and toddlers (it would also make a good Easter gift, given the nature of the book!).

Format: Board book
This colourful board book is one in a huge series of "touchy feely" books by Usborne. The premise of the book is very simple, it shows six pictures of different rabbits, which all have feely bits, like fluffy tails and sandpaper paws. Every picture stars off with the phrase "...that's not my bunny..." and then gives a reason, such as "...it's paws are too rough." On the last page of the book, the little mouse protagonist finds his bunny, whose "...ears are so soft."

This is a delightful book which would suit children from birth to five years old, as the pictures are very bold and simple, with attractive colours. The simple, repetitive text will encourage young ones to read by themselves, and the different textures on the page will enchant little ones.

I have another one of these books, which I have had for about two years, and unlike many books of this type, I have found these books to be very robust. Trust me, if they can survive my kids manhandling, they must be good! The books are very sturdy and well made, and are designed to last a long time and withstand a lot of rough treatment.

I was a bit disappointed with this one - it seems there aren't many bits of a bunny to describe - the tail comes up twice and the "eyes are too shiny" page is a bit scary!! Buy "That's not my dinosaur" instead - it's lovely.

My little girl is 11 months. I introduced her to the 'That's not my...' series of books when she was 3-4 months and she absolutely loves them. The board makes it easy for her to look through by herself and she loves finding the different textures to touch. She enjoys it when we read them together too. A good investment, I can see these lasting a good while longer yet.
