Snowy White is best known for his guitar wizardry on Thin Lizzy albums; his 1984 UK solo hit single "Bird of Paradise" fom his "White Flames" album, and latterly his refocus on blues music. This album (his third?) will most appeal to those who liked the Bird of Paradise song but found the rest of his debut solo album a little difficult. Most of the songs here are well crafted and insanely catchy, For me, it also has an element of restraint as if Snowy really wants to let rip with soaring guitar solos and is then faded out....Nevertheless an album I have played time and again. Nice guitar work, catchy-breezy melodies, nothing too deep and meaningful and great fun. Tip: catch Snowy doing his thing for Peter Green on the latter's "Blue Guitar" vinyl LP.
