Book Description

Aug 2006
'That Which Is Not Said' is look at you's first publication.
It is a collection of poetry by comedians. Many stand ups it seems have an
inner poet of sorts that they are unable to express through stand up, so
the idea behind this book was to give comics a blank remit - submit
whatever they please - and this is the most interesting aspect, to see what
comics will come up with given complete freedom. So the content is varied,
from poignant verse to puerile ditties, what we're left with a hilarious
but tender tome; the perfect joke book.

It features poems from over 30 comics including Russell Brand, Stewart Lee,
Harry Hill, Simon Munnery, Arthur Smith, & Tim Vine. With sleeve by David
Shrigley

This book is like a whose-who of influential comedians from the last 5 years or so before they became mainstream. Really nicely produced. A great present.
