".....you can imagine giving this book to a teenager and not being despised for it."
Book Description
This pocket book is the same size as a phrase book you might take on foreign travels. As with a phrase book, it is not intended to give you all the answers, but to help you out when you are struggling in unfamiliar surroundings. Divided into two parts, That Attitude Book first explores why negativity is prevalent in western society, before examining what it takes to remain positive despite it all. The use of quotations and clip art images make each page easy to dip back into for quick recall.
From the Author
That Attitude Book is primarily aimed at young people before embarking on their careers, but the messages are equally valid for adults, particularly parents. Since publication, copies have been sent to carefully-selected high achievers in business, entertainment and sport, (whose lives appear to embody the underlining theme of the book: be yourself, follow your talents and persevere), inviting them to endorse it "in as few or as many words you consider appropriate". The response has been fantastic. To date more than 100 endorsements have been received. These are all on the books website (thatattitudebook.com), together with a short biography of each person's inspiring achievements. (Graham Pepper, February 2006)
