Despite the Amazon listing and artist biography, this album is not by the Royal Blood hailing from Brighton, England and formed in 2013.

Rather, this album was recorded back in the early 90s and this Royal Blood consists of Alex Masi, Rocky Newton and Eric Golbach - names you might be familiar with if you are a fan of 80's hair metal.

They were all set to be the next "big thing" (at least in their own minds) when Nirvana and Seattle grunge appeared, changing the musical landscape and leaving their brand of music seeming so last decade pretty much overnight.

If you are a fan of the genre, go ahead and check it out if the mood takes you. However, if you are looking for something by the "new" Royal Blood (and to be honest, I would highly recommend them!) stick to downloading Little Monster and wait a little longer for their debut album to be released.

Wrong royal blood, more like a cross between Meatloaf and the Darkness, cheesy garbage.

Look them up and love them! 11 Sept. 2014
By Miss Cindy Elliott - Published on Amazon.com
It is highly misleading that the only review on here gives 1 star; this is a highly enjoyable album of a more 'classic rock' nature.
It is true that this is not the band from Brighton, so please look these guys up before buying the album!
Definitely worth a listen :)
Not the same Royal Blood of "Figured It Out" and "Little Monster" fame!!! But, it's not horrible either. 24 Jun. 2015

I didn't realize until I read the 5-star review here that this was NOT the debut album for Royal Blood. I own both (digital only) and honestly thought this was the same band, but with a different producer. WRONG!!!

This album, by itself is not great, but not horrible. I should probably rate it as 2 starts, but I am giving it the benefit of the doubt, given that I thought it was a crappie first album for a really good band.

The sound is pretty much warmed over 80's hair-band. It's not great, but not horrible either. It's worth a listen.

Sounds like a Tesla cover band. The album was recommended by Amazon, which I assumed meant it was the same "Royal Blood" band I knew. It's not. Don't be fooled and move along.

I mistakenly thought this was an earlier album by the new band called Royal Blood. Didn't realize I was buying an outdated hair band album.
