Format:Audio CD
This cd has 20 great tracks and has most of his uk and stateside
70s hits,including the fantastic Lonely boy, with Linda Ronstadt on background
vocals(he was Linda Ronstadts lead guitarist in the 70s. Also the track
(Can anybody see me) with ex 10cc bass player Graham Gouldman is very
good. As a footnote, the album is produced by Peter Asher, who was once
part of the 60s duo Peter and Gordon (World without love) where is Gordon
now?

Andrew Gold has always had a McCartney-style gift for the deceptively simple but beautifully crafted pop song, and this collection is a wonderful showcase for his work at its best. How Can This Be Love, Lonely Boy, Never Let Her Slip Away, Still You Linger On, Thank You For Being a Friend - the list goes on. Like Stephen Bishop, his peak was maybe at the wrong time in terms of fashion, but this underrated talent should be celebrated, and this excellent collection does the job well.

Andrew Gold is the most under-rated and under-appreciated talent to come from the shores of sunny California.
This CD is a superb example of what I'm talking about. I can heartily recommend it.

i never received the item
i dont know what this item is like as amazon had problems with the snow so i got a full refund it ruined christmas as my partner didnt have any pressys

This is a fine example of how gather a selection of really good songs into one very good album. so buy it and settle down, just like a glass of good wine so relaxing..
