Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

An absolute gem of an invention - a definite 'must have' for 2006!

Simply place this tiny innocent looking device onto any flat surface or object and it turns itself into a 15W speaker! We have had tremendous fun with this in the office - you really have to hear it to believe how good the sound quality and volume actually is. The Nimzy Vibro Blaster is defiantly not just a gimmick, it really does kick out heck of a lot of sound and the applications are endless.

Using a patented electro acoustic technology, Nimzy Vibro Blaster transforms sonic signals into sonic mechanical vibrations to produce sound. It can transmit clear sound or music through any flat object, be it wood, stone, plastic, glass, anything!

Attach it to your laptop, MP3 player, iPod, PSP or any audio devices, Nimzy Vibro Blaster serves as an alternative to earphones or conventional speakers whereby quality of sound is often dependent on the size of speakers.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Simply the BEST ! 1 Feb 2006
    By Ray
A stylish product which cannot be resist. All along I like to play or mess around with sound gadgets and I started off with sound bug sometime back. Unfortunately due to the limitation of this device (as it is using AAA batteries) and it can't really boost out the sound quality, it was kind of disappointing...I stopped playing with such gadgets and very sceptical on such device's quality.

Until I saw this Nimzy Vibro Blaster, I decided to give myself a second chance. Amazingly, it was FAR beyond my expectation. The sound quality was extremely cool as it uses an additional amplifier which really boost out the true sound. When I places on my table, it basically emit out sound thru omni-directional and you really feel that it is all round. When I did my sales presentation while connecting this gadget to my notebook and place it on our meeting coference room wooden table, everyone was impressed as even for the person sitting at far end, he can still hear the media which was played thru my presentation. I place it on my glass window, everyone outside of my room was amazed as they do not know where the music came from...

    Seeing is believing!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars NImzy? Bit flimzy. 9 Feb 2007
I just installed a new setup and thought rather that bother with loads of speakers etc Id just install this instead. So as suggested it is rather small. First thing I noticed is that I needed a mains plug for it. Then of couse you find it has a jack attached so its like pluging it into to a headphones socket if you know what I mean. So eventually I sorted all that out and then scratched my head as I intended to put the sound through a wall, but how do you attach something flat and smooth to a wall? Glue it? So instead I put it on a cabinet, face down. Sure enough it worked a treat. The whole cabinet became a speaker. But that in itself was a disappointment. Because thats exactly what it sounded like. A single speaker. Ok its a novelty. But quality sound it isnt. If I wanted that sort of sound I could have just connected one of my old speakers, and it would have taken up less space. But I had forked out £79 and I was going to enjoy it. That was until the small fan built into the speaker started to vibrate. The Nimzy picked this up and magnified it. So now I had a single speaker sound with a vibrating/buzz type noise. If I stopped the fan the noise stopped. But obvioiusly you cant have that as a permanent solution. So I sent it back and asked for a refund. Clever idea. I may get another for my laptop eventually if I need a speaker but then again I may just wait for version 2 when they have ironed out the problems. So novel yes. Good idea yes. Works yes. Quality sound and space saving sadly no.
