The core textbook for the Property Law module on my LLB. Tackling the notoriously dry and complex subject that is Land Law, this is a refreshingly simple book to follow. Each area is broken down into understandable terms making this an indispensible purchase for any Law student or general reader.

This book repeats too much and covers a lot 'comparatively-less-important' stuff. In a 2-3 hrs law exam, I believe what we have to do is give the heart of the question a strike. If you simply read this book, you will not even know how to distinguish the important part and the relatively not important part and by that it means you will probably spending time writing stuff not on the marking scheme which will then ruin your time management. But the main reason I give this book a one-star is that it positioned itself in between directions and dixon/gray. If you want a book easy to understand and go through all the mainpoints in sequence, with key cases and statutes, DIRECTION series is the best; if you want to have some extra reading, go through land law deeper, martin dixon can give you a better view on this. Overall, having regarded to all these three books, I would read DIRECTION to understand the topic, and explore it in dixon.

If your starting land law I would recommend you avoid this book. This is a book you may want to use when writing coursework or if your aiming for a high mark in your end of year exams. The book is very comprehensive and detailed but that makes its very overwhelming to those new to the subject and those who find it difficult. this is partly due to its lay out.

If your new to land law or struggling with it, buy Clarke And Greer Land Law Directions.

If your feeling confident, aiming for a high mark or doing a dissertation this may be the book for you.

This book got me an A in my land law. Beautifully written flows like prose. Forever grateful to Judith Anne Mackenzie. I loved every sentence of this book I couldn't put it down. Such clarity and skill the writer brings the law to reality and makes it so understandable.

Will definitely recommend and would purchase other books by the write again.

Got this book second hand, its not the quality I expected, especially when compared to other second hand books, but for the price it is tolerable.

As for content, quite simplified and easy to understand. I would recommend using it as a supplementary book to your notes as you will need more depth if you plan for a higher grade.
